Rachel Sobiech
Hello! My name is Rachel. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whom specializes in gender & sexuality, trauma healing utilizing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), as well as addiction recovery, working with adolescents and adults. I love what I do and am passionate about helping others heal and grow to be the best versions of themself. Establishing Feel & Heal has been an ultimate goal of mine and I am excited to hold a safe space full of empathy, compassion, and support.

My experience
I graduated from the University of South Florida with my Masters in Social Work in 2017. Completing my internships at an outpatient women's addiction recovery center doing group and individual therapy for women in recovery. I also provided case management & rental assistance for Veterans without homes during my experience with the Veteran Affairs, HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing internship.
I have 5+ years working with substance use disorders & recovery which included in home assessments, outpatient counselor, and an adolescent group counselor. During this time I completed my supervision hours and obtained my License Clinical Social Worker credentials in 2020.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and living life as my authentic self. In 2019 I began following my passion as a contacted therapist at Enso Behavioral Healthcare providing support and guidance to others with in the population, including family, friends, and allies. I help individuals to discover their true identities and assist in overcoming obstacles that may come across their path on the journey. Now specializing in gender & sexuality for adolescents and adults.

Enjoying my experience with youth and the future generations, in 2020 I established a weekly LGBTQ+ adolescent support group. Dedicated to help youth feel loved, valid, and make peer connections.

I am the founder & camp director of non-profit CampOUT, Florida's first LGBTQ+ sleep away summer camp. Having our first successful year the summer of 2022. Which provides a safe space for adventure, experiences, and the authentic expression of LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. https://www.campoutflorida.com/

I completed my EMDR training in 2021, utilizing this as an additional tool for trauma healing.
